CCS Graduate Studies Hosts Painter Elaine S. Wilson in Fall 2021 Lecture Series

CCS Graduate Studies is excited to host painter Elaine S. Wilson in our Fall 2021 lecture series. Wilson holds her MFA in painting from the Yale School of Art and her BFA from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Art.  

Wilson has over thirty years of teaching experience at the college level, including Rhode Island School of Design, University of Michigan School of Art and Design, Washtenaw Community College, Wesleyan University, and here at CCS in the Color and Materials Design MFA program since 2015. Wilson has also taught numerous art workshops to introduce artists and non-artists to the exploration of the behavior of Color. In 2013 she spent two months in residency at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation in Bethany, CT.

Hearing and Tasting Color: Poetry in Josef Albers’s Homages to the Square will be moderated by MFA Color and Materials Design students Jyotsna Parthasarathy and Merek Alam.
