CCS Exhibitions & Public Programs
The College for Creative Studies’ new Office of Exhibitions & Public Programs merges all the great enrichment programs that CCS is known for – and some exciting new ones - into one formidable package that will bring exceptional art experiences to Detroit and create new opportunities for our students, the future leaders in art and design. CCS’s galleries present some of Detroit's best exhibitions of contemporary art and design. They provide sites of interaction, experimentation, collaboration and dialogue and are an indispensable resource for our students and the community. In addition to its flagship spaces, Center Galleries and the Valade Family Gallery, exhibitions will also take place throughout the year in Alumni & Faculty Hall, the Permanent Collection Gallery and the U245 Student Gallery. Public lectures by major figures in art and design are offered though the College’s Woodward Lecture Series and the Toyota Lecture Series. All exhibitions and public programs at CCS are free and open to the public.
