- Application deadlines
CCS is still accepting applications on a rolling basis. We still encourage students to apply as soon as possible for maximum consideration.
- Receipt of transcripts
We realize that schools are closed in affected areas. All students are strongly encouraged to pull unofficial transcripts via their grade/course management system if they have access and to send documents by email to email@example.com or request digitally through Parchment, as soon as possible. If your school is managing electronic requests, please continue to make that request as well.
- AP and IB Test Credit
CCS recognizes the achievements of students who have successfully completed tests such as the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate. Our full IB and AP equivalency charts.
- Pass/Fail Grades for Transfer
CCS accepts 'P' (Pass), 'NC' (No Credit) or 'CR' (Credit) courses for transfer.
- English language tests for international students
Due to cancellations of TOEFL and IELTS tests, CCS has begun accepting the Duolingo English Test from applicants.

In accordance with recommendations by the State of Michigan to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the CCS Office of Admissions is suspending all on-campus visits, tours, and information sessions through June 1, 2020.

Message from College for Creative Studies President Don Tuski
The health and safety of the CCS community is our top priority and we are taking every step to reduce risks related to COVID-19. One of the best ways to prevent the spread of viral illness is to minimize the circumstances in which individuals may interact and transmit the disease. Most colleges across the country were mandated to switch to online or remote education to complete the current semester and to limit in person activities and events to no more than 10 people, and CCS has complied with this directive, which is why we have made the decision to transition to remote learning and cancel on campus events at this time.
As you may already know, our Admissions team is developing online events and formats for you to connect with them virtually. Staying in touch remotely allows us to continue helping you through the college application process while protecting you and our community.
The future at CCS is bright. We are planning to return all functions of campus back to normal this summer, which will be in plenty of time for the start of Fall semester classes. This means access to all studios, facilities and equipment, faculty and campus services and spaces will be fully functional for incoming and current students. We are committed to the studio experience for all of our students.
Don Tuski, President
Connect with CCS
There is nothing like experiencing all that CCS has to offer by touring our state of the art facilities, meeting with faculty and our dedicated admissions and student support team and connecting with your future classmates in-person. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and the importance of the health, wellness and safety of the CCS community, including all future students and their families, we have moved all of our admissions and enrollment related events online. Here are some great ways to connect with CCS from anywhere:
Open House Presentations
Be SOCIAL with your new classmates in the CCS Class of 2024 Facebook page and by tagging your Instagram photos with #IGotIntoCCS.

Don’t forget to check your email and portal to learn more about your program and get updates about exciting new ways to connect with us in the future.
We look forward to meeting with you and your family virtually and in-person in the fall!
The health, safety and well-being of our applicants and their families is extremely important to us. We encourage prospective, current and admitted applicants to contact the Office of Admissions, firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns about the admissions process.
