The Detroit International Wine Auction (DIWA), which raised $3.6 million in 2017, ranks as one of the top charitable wine auctions in the United States, and is number one in the Midwest.  Metropolitan Detroit businesses as well as wineries from around the world contribute to the auction as sponsors, auction lot donors and auction participants.  Proceeds from the event support undergraduate CCS student scholarships and free art programs for almost 3,000 Detroit youth annually.  Fine Wine and art enthusiasts as well as local philanthropists.

Vintner’s Private Reception
6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

The Vintner’s Private Reception for Patron level ticket holders/sponsors and above features the best wines and hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity for guests to meet the Featured Vintner, Craig Hall of Hall Wines, and hear him describe some of his favorite wines in a more intimate, relaxed setting and bid on silent auction items.

Silent Auction Reception
7:15 to 8:00 p.m.

Guests enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine while bidding on wine packages and CCS Alumni art.

Gala Dinner and Live Auction
8:00 p.m.

The Live Auction features fabulous wine, exclusive travel packages, unique experiences and original works of art. The dinner catered by Forte Belanger features 5-courses paired with wines selected by the Featured Vintner. (Black Tie optional)

Approximately 10:00 p.m.

The evening continues at Lumen Detroit in Beacon Park, as late-night revelers enjoy lite bites, cocktails and entertainment.
