
2023 Glass Art Society Conference

Overview
The 2023 Glass Art Society Conference will be held Wednesday, June 7th – Saturday, June 10th, 2023 in Detroit, Michigan. The four-day conference will gather the global glass community to celebrate community, collaboration and crossover in the Motor City. Over 100 presenters will connect, inspire, and empower attendees with lectures, demonstrations and special events at the College for Creative Studies, the Detroit Institute of Arts and the iconic Russell Industrial Center. This year only, experience a once-in-a-lifetime partnership with Michigan Glass Project, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering their community through the captivating power of glass art and music.
CCS’s Involvement
CCS will host Hot Demos at their state-of-the-art hot shop, Lectures in the auditorium, Panels in the WB Ford Building, and Lecmos and Demos in the Cold/Mold Shop and 3-D Lab. New this year, enjoy a dedicated quiet space and device recharging station in the CCS Recharge Lounge. Also not to miss is this year’s Silent Auction and Goblet Grab + Beverage Tasting hosted on the CCS Campus.
