Interaction Design, Motion Design, Interface Design and Experience Design.

Professional Experience:

Matthew was former partner at Defrost Design, a design studio specializing in print, interactive and motion communications for a variety of educational and corporate clients including Lawrence Technological University, College for Creative Studies, U of M School of Business, Nissan, Audi, General Motors, the Detroit Institute of Arts, & the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. Before co-founding Defrost, he worked full-time as a senior designer for Eastern Michigan University. Raupp has served as an adjunct in the Graphic Design Department since 1999 and welcomes his new role as associate professor. His primary focus, as both a professional and educator, lies within interaction and time based communication systems. Raupp earned a BFA and MFA in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University and is a long-time active member of the AIGA Detroit Chapter. He has received numerous awards and has been published in both print and web reviews and shows.
