Research Interests:

Main interest is in developing ways to activate the still image through combining with video or moving the image out of the frame and into the viewer's space. Current project involves exploring how capturing both UV and infrared light in photographs transforms the image, then printing on hand made Japanese Kozo paper.

Professional Experience:

Bruce worked for Nike for 5 years as a member of the Golf design team and 3 years as Senior Graphic Designer for Patagonia, and his photographic artwork has shown in galleries in Oregon and California. Since 2003 he has held the position of Chair of Photography at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Feldman also served as an adjunct graduate faculty member of the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore summer low residence MFA in Studio Arts from 2010 to 2017.
