Bruce W. Feldman was born in Montevideo, Uruguay.
As the only child of a career diplomat, he spent most of his first fifteen years living outside the United States. He holds a MFA in Studio Art from Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, received his BFA in Photography from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, a BA in Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has done graduate studies in film and special effects at the California State University in Humboldt. Feldman has over twelve years of professional experience working with multimedia imaging software, predicting trends, and designing graphics for future markets.
He has worked for acclaimed companies like Nike and Patagonia, and his photographic artwork has shown in galleries in Oregon and California. For the past nine years Feldman has held the position of Chair of Photography at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Feldman has also been an adjunct graduate faculty member of the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore summer low residence MFA in Studio Arts for the past 5 years.
