Dennis Jones

Research Interests:

Dennis Jones creative output has included paintings, sculptures, drawings, installation, photography and books. Jones' current focus is on a continuously growing body of paintings, in mixed media on canvas that combine elements of abstraction and representation, intuition, humor, the mutability of paint, death and rebirth.

Professional Experience:

Dennis Jones is a visual artist, educator, and licensed practicing architect. He has participated in several one person and group shows, totaling sixty-one exhibitions that include local, national and international venues that span a career of twenty-six years. Jones work was selected to be included in the New American Paintings Midwest Competition Publication due out sometime, in 2019. Jones had a one- person exhibition, Candyland, from September through December of 2018, at The University of Michigan, NCRC Galleries.
