Golsa Yaghoobi

Research Interests:

Professional Experience:

Golsa Yaghoobi is a painter and printmaker based in the Detroit area. She has been an exhibiting artist for 20 years, and has been teaching studio art since 2004.

In addition to teaching at the College for Creative Studies, Yaghoobi is a painting and drawing instructor at the Atelier Art Studio in Royal Oak. Her work has featured in the international exhibition The Veil: Visible and Invisible Spaces, and is held in permanent collections in the U.S. and abroad. She is currently collaborating with Dewitt Studio on an historically based children's book titled "Brave With Beauty," forthcoming in 2019 from Yali Books.
