Research Interests:

Jen Fitzpatrick's sculptural practice is rooted in shape & color language that looks at “Awareness”, and concepts that speak to sensory and visual language. Her work speaks to human response and environmental concerns.

Professional Experience:

Jen has served the College for Creative Studies for 17 years. During this time she has taught Foundation courses in Color and Light, 2D and 3D Design Concepts, Digital Fundamentals, and 3D Design Techniques. She has also taught at the MFA level in Color & Materials Design. Jen has a breadth of professional experience that includes co-managing the Glaze Department at Pewabic Pottery. She has worked in industry as a production artist at Leo Brennan Marketing and Communications and Biomedical Communications in Ann Arbor. Also over the last 20 years, Jen has exhibited her personal art work in galleries around the region.
