Stephen Leslie is currently Senior Creative Director and Executive Producer at Xperience Communications in Dearborn, MI. Xperience is an experiential communications agency for Ford, Lincoln, Urban Science, Pfizer, LoJack and Panasonic and others.
Leslie has more than 30 years of advertising and corporate communications experience in the Detroit area, as well as international experience at JWT Zurich as Art Director for Winston, Heinken, San Pellegrino and Kellogg’s Europe. In addition, he taught Art Direction and Design Communications at Art Center College of Design in Vevey, Switzerland. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor at CCS in the Advertising Design department.
Leslie has worked in multiple facets of advertising and marketing communications, from live shows for Chrysler, GM and Strohs Beer, to producing GM’s Concept: Cure events in New York City as well as autoshow reveals in Frankfurt, Paris and Geneva. He has produced press events in Malaga, Spain and Dubai, UAE.
In his spare time, Leslie is currently working on a long term Jewish Holocaust Survivor project. He is also an urban lumber craft furniture maker. He has produced the live auctions at The Grosse Pointe Academy, an annual fundraiser for the private school. He is also former president of the Detroit Swiss Society. Leslie has been active with the CCS Alumni Council and is a member at MOCAD.
Leslie lives in Grosse Pointe, MI., with his wife, Claudia, and daughters, Leonie and Sophie.
Leslie has won many awards for his work, including Gold Medals from ITVA for his Concept:Cure, HUMMER TED film work and a Gold Medal from the International Film and TV Festival of New York for Chrysler Announcement Show work.
