Dexter Slusarski

After Graduating from Michigan State University with a BA in Political Science, Dexter worked as a Community Planner for the City of Lansing’s Planning and Development Department working with residents to acquire, demolish and reuse property in the city’s floodplain.

In 2012, Dexter began pursuing a Masters of Urban Planning at Wayne State with a focus of Metropolitan Growth Management. In late 2013 Dexter began leading the data team at LOVELAND Technologies, where he worked on projects like Motor City Mapping and helped develop a national parcel database that covers over 140 million parcels. In November of 2016 Dexter joined the Department of Innovation and Technology’s GIS team. Dexter sits on the Board of Directors in his neighborhood, North Rosedale Park, where he lives with his girlfriend Chelsea and dog Agnes.
