Research Interests:

Jeffrey Herbstman began working with data at the University of Michigan where he obtained a PhD in Applied Physics. He found his skill set well suited him to the field of Data Science and left the university for Detroit where he has worked as a consultant for a variety of firms building predictive models, performing advanced analysis, and telling bad jokes.

Professional Experience:

Since 2017, Jeffrey has been a part of the Mayor's Office at the City of Detroit, assisting the city in becoming more data-driven in its solutions and services.
