Professional Experience

Cari has spent over 20 years working as a Craftsmanship and Appearance Engineer. She is currently employed by Mahindra Automotive North America. Cari manages Appearance and Color/Grain/Gloss activities and manages suppliers worldwide to develop new products/colors. Cari ensures surface quality, color, grain and gloss, and supports vehicle craftsmanship builds. She manages supplier appearance activities and is also active in Innovation projects for her company. Cari is active in the Detroit Colour Council as Past President and current Board Member. Previous employment in the industry was at BOS Automotive Products, Venture Industries and Magna, where she was responsible for similar functions.

Cari spends much of her time traveling internationally, facilitating the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue test with suppliers and company staff, along with color training and solving color concerns. Cari has worked on Automotive programs with Subaru, Honda, Nissan, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Lexus, General Motors, Nissan, Chrysler, Ford and Mahindra.
