CCS's A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education, which once was General Motors' Argonaut Building, has a history of being a global center for design. It's the building that the Corvette was born in, as well as the world's first fully automatic transmission, tail fins, engine driven fuel pumps, and the world's first concept vehicle. GM Foundation Announces $1.25 Million Grant to College for Creative Studies
The General Motors Foundation has gifted the College for Creative Studies (CCS) $1.25 million to help strengthen educational opportunities through scholarships for graduate students at CCS through 2018, as well as fund efforts through the You Make A Difference program.
The College is pleased to welcome two new members to our community starting Fall semester 2015: Dona Lantz joined the College as Associate Provost for Curriculum, and Michelle Cade is CCS’s new Assistant Provost for Student and Global Affairs.
CCS Product Design Professor wins Best Concept Award
CCS Product Design Professor Stephen Schock and his team of Henry Ford Hospital employees won the inaugural Henry Ford Innovative Institute’s Davidson Fellowship for Entrepreneurs in Digital Health competition.
