Professional Experience
Adjunct Instructor and Voice & Speech, Dialects, Acting, Wayne State University. Member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity Association, VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association).
As an actor, Christopher has worked regionally and globally on stage and in film in New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, Buffalo, and Minneapolis, as well as in Dublin and Moscow. In 2014 he was awarded a grant to certify as a teacher and coach of Knight-Thompson Speech Work. After moving to Detroit in 2016, he expanded his career as a dialect coach and teacher, working at Wayne State University, College for Creative Studies, Detroit Public Theatre, and other area theatres. At CCS, he took on curriculum development for its fledgling “Acting for Film and Animation” course, and continues to enthusiastically adapt it to the needs of the students.
