Professional Experience

Craig Metros retired from the Ford Motor Company at the end of 2020 after 35 incredible years. Since early 2019, Metros was responsible for overseeing the future design vision and strategy for all Ford trucks and SUV’s including F-Series, Ranger, Expedition, Explorer, Bronco. Metros was previously Design Director, North American Exterior where he led design teams and the development of all new production vehicles that included the 2017 Ford GT, Shelby GT-500 Mustang, F-150, and Bronco.

Since joining Ford in 1986, Metros has held a number of key positions in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Japan.

Metros was the Design Director for Ford Asia Pacific, based in Melbourne, Australia. During his tenure he led the design concepts and themes around the Ford Everest utility, Ford Falcon sedan, and Ford Ranger truck, highlighting his versatility across a wide range of vehicles.
