My passion is to design with purpose. From identifying the right need, to spending hours sketching out a form, to delivering a final product to a customer, I love the process of design and the endless pursuit of true innovation.

As a manager, teacher and consultant, my goal every day is to help my colleagues, students and clients maximize their talents and find purpose through design.

Design innovation is achieved through an empathetic approach to identifying ideal functional, emotional and societal attributes to create products the solve tactical problems, satisfy emotional desires, and provide sustainable solutions.

Professional Experience

My passion for design and cars led me to the Motor City where I graduated from CCS in Transportation Design in 2004. I spent my early career at GM and ASC before becoming Lead Designer at Saleen where I penned the 2008 S5S Raptor supercar and 2010 Saleen S281. I then moved from sports cars to sports equipment and joined Warrior Sports, where I lead the helmet design, launching the Krown360 hockey helmet. I then moved the Sundberg-Ferar where my diverse background provides a wide perspective when tackling the vast array of design challenges experienced at a design consulting firm working on projects from global mobility to the future of design education.
