The intersection of art and community; in particular, the role of aesthetics in contemporary art and visual culture.

Professional Experience

Upon receiving her MA degree, Moore began teaching humanities, art history and visual culture at Madonna University, where she also spent ten years as Gallery Director for the Madonna University Exhibit Gallery. In 2013 Moore began her PhD studies in Art, Theory and Philosophy at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts (https://www.idsva.edu). She is currently a PhD candidate writing about aesthetic theory at the intersection of art and community. Moore has written extensively on contemporary art theory. She also has wide-ranging experience as a curator of contemporary art. She is co-owner of MOSAIC Productions, LLC and OFFICE SPACE Gallery, (https://www.mosaicproductionsllc.com) where she frequently lectures and holds exhibit-related panel discussions. In addition to her courses at CCS, since 2007 Moore has held the position of sessional instructor at the University of Windsor School of Creative Arts (SoCA) where she teaches Modern and Contemporary Art.
