Jonathon’s main interest is in the implementation of new technology into the Architecture profession and teaching emerging professionals how those in the building industry are using this technology. His expertise in graphics and visualization programs is a significant asset for clarifying design and planning concepts.

Professional Experience

Jonathon has worked on a wide spectrum of building types. His project portfolio includes commercial, industrial / manufacturing, healthcare, and automotive facilities. Though many of these projects took place in the United States, he also worked on projects both in Mexico and Saudi Arabia. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Jonathon’s project involvement spans the entire project life-cycle – especially the design, document production and construction administration phases.

Significant Publications, Presentations and Exhibitions

Jonathon Jackson was recently appointed as the Young Architect Regional Director for the American Institute of Architects in the state of Michigan. In the Fall of 2019 he was awarded the Young Architect of the Year for the State of MI. In Spring of 2019 he was appointed by Governor Whitmer to the Construction Code Commission for the State of Michigan.
