Art, Fashion and Dogs.

Work involved extensive research of the personal Vreeland archives, housed at the New York Public Library and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as the archives and collections of Conde Nast, The Warhol Foundation, The Avedon Foundation, and many other prominent designers and artists.

Additional research, with the American Kennel Club, The Henry Ford Museum, The Kellen Archives, as well as multiple other sources.

Professional Experience

Julie Muszynski is an author, illustrator, designer, and just plain all-around creative. She loves all things artistic, beautiful, and research-based.

She spent her formative years working in the prestigious advertising and fashion departments at Saks Fifth Avenue and Calvin Klein respectively. Moving on to work as a freelance stylist for clients including Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, Martha Stewart Living, and Vogue, just to name a few. Julie has written five books, three of which she also illustrated and designed based on her charming character, Henley™®. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design, studied animation at The School of Visual Arts, received her MFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and went on to receive a Certificate in Graphic Design from Parsons where she recently served for four years as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Fashion. She is represented by Lipstick of London.
