Disability justice and accessible design. As a disabled artist and designer, documenting experiences of ableism through making is cathartic. What’s more, witnessing these acts allows me to explore their underpinnings and to reveal new insights about the disabled community.
And develop disruptions for inaccesible design/spaces.
Kate has worked for clients such as Apple, Amazon, NPR, and MIT. After working professionally for a few years, Kate accepted a spot in the Cranbrook Academy of Art’s Master’s program in 2019. Kate accepted a part-time adjunct position at College for Creative Studies in 2021.
