Professional Experience

Mr. Coyle has been working professionally in the Motion Picture Industry since 1984.

During Mr. Coyle’s 30 year (and counting) career arc, he has held a wide variety of jobs, such as: Editor, Camera Assistant, Set Dresser and Animator

He has worked on over thirty Hollywood Feature Films, including: Heat (1992), Seven (1992), Bram Stokers’ Dracula (1994), Virtuosity (1996), Stuart Little (1993), Leaving Las Vegas (1997), Mystery Men (1998) and Youth in Revolt (2009).

Mr. Coyle has worked with such directors and designers as Mike Nichols, Francis Ford Coppola, Michel Gondry, David Fincher, Joel Schumacher, Tony Walton, and Dean Tavoularis.

In the Stop-Motion world, Mr. Coyle has animated for, in Portland, Oregon: Will Vinton Studios and Bent Image Labs, in New York City: Hornet Animation, Brand New School, Curious Pictures, MTV Animation, and in Los Angeles: Screen-Novelties, Open the Portal, Disney Digital, Starburns Industries, and Stoopid Buddy Studios.

Significant Publications, Presentations and Exhibitions

Mr. Coyle’s work has been screened at the 1997 British Short Film Festival and at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival.
