Research interests include exploring the symbiosis between the built environment and human well-being, by delving into how spaces foster physiological comfort, psychological engagement, and community connection, especially in the realm of education and learning. Similarly, sharing a fascination to investigate the built environment’s capacity to elegantly deter undesirable behaviors. One side of inquiry lies a fascination with the aesthetics of architecture and their profound impact on human fulfillment and belonging.

 

Professional Experience

Started full-time as a Visiting Professor at College for Creative Studies in 2023 after being an Adjunct Professor since 2012. Designing Schools around the world since 2018 with Fielding International, moving from Interiors and Architecture to Learning design. Practiced Residential and Small Commercial Design with Anahi Hollis Design between 2016 and 2018. Started a graphic facilitation company in 2015.  Since 2013, Independently consulted with companies and organizations large and small to bring their ideas to life through design and creative business consultation. Worked at SHW Group from 2012-2013 designing interiors for Schools around the US.
