Some of Matt Linton’s research interests include racial, formal, and genre hybridity in visual narratives, particularly 21st century American films and comics.

Professional Experience

Matt Linton has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the English department at Wayne State University
since the beginning of fall in 2016. Has taught courses ranging from Basic, Intro, and Intermediate Composition, to Technical Communication and Introduction to Film. Beginning in 2020, he has taught Composition II, Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies, and The Graphic Novel at CCS.
