Professional Experience
Nico Thetard is originally from France, and has been a member of the College for Creative Studies’ Industrial Design faculty since 2007. He has more than 19 years of international experience in Industrial Design, having worked in Brazil, France, Japan; and recently came back from a two-year stint in Silicon Valley, CA. Thetard currently works at Ford Motor Company as Product Design Manager, and previously worked at companies such as Nissan, LTU, Audi, and with renowned French designer Philippe Starck. Early in his career, Thetard was awarded a Silver Medal at Designers’ Europe Competition. His work has been published in several French and American automotive magazines, including one cover page.
