Professional Experience
Philip McAvoy is an award winning professor and creative hybrid with more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of advertising, marketing, digital and social media at small and large global agencies. He is currently the interim Chair of Advertising Design at CCS and Chief Creative Officer at P-Mac Labs. His prior roles include freelance/UX lead at agencyQ; Vice President, Creative Director at Carbon Media Group; Creative Director at MXM and New Media Strategies; Digital Creative Director at PUSH22 and BERLINE as well as spending time at many worldwide agencies including BBDO, Campbell-Ewald and Doner. Philip has worked across a wide range of industries from Consumer Products and Entertainment to Automotive and Public Affairs. He has won many creative awards, regionally, nationally, and internationally, including several Addys, D Shows, Effies, Mobiuses and One Shows. His accolades also include recognition for numerous social media and advertising campaigns, and film festival awards.
