Sam Sefton’s research interests include advertising design with an emphasis on strategic thinking and integrated campaigns.

Professional Experience

Sam Sefton is an award-winning Creative Director / Writer with a background in design and art direction. After graduating with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Sam made his way from a small design firm in Chicago to Doner Detroit where he started as an Art Director. After Doner, Sam went on to FCB and BBDO as SVP Group Creative Director, leading teams and earning awards for Jeep and Dodge. In 2008, Sam headed back to Doner and made the jump to the writing side as an SVP Group Creative Director / Writer. Currently he splits his time between ad agency MRM and teaching at CCS, along with personal and professional side gig photography.
