Professional Experience
Northrup is a multimedia artist, writer, curator, and educator who has exhibited with museums, galleries, film and design festivals, and alternative spaces in North America, Italy, and Finland. He joined the College in 2006 as an adjunct professor of Entertainment Arts and took a lead role in evaluating and shaping curricula. He accepted a full-time teaching position with the college in 2009 and was advanced in rank to Associate Professor and Director of Digital Filmmaking in 2019. He teaches courses in narrative, documentary, and experimental filmmaking, as well as socially conscious interdisciplinary studios.
