College for Creative Studies: Transportation Design
Raymond Gonet Jr. is a graduate of College for Creative Studies and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Transportation Design with a concentration in Business. He was born in Cleveland and lives with his family in Parma Heights, Ohio.
As a senior, Raymond was employed as an Industrial Design Intern at Mahindra Automotive where he gained valuable experience collaborating with a team of professional and student designers. Raymond has a passion for meeting customer needs and solving problems with design. This can be seen in his work with DEVCOM and the United States Army. Motivated to become a well-rounded student, Raymond was named to the Dean’s List throughout his time at College for Creative Studies. He was named to the President’s List in his senior year. Raymond’s skill set includes strong rendering, presentation, and sketching abilities. He looks to apply these skills while pursuing a career in Automotive and Industrial Design.
Raymond is a Cleveland sports fan and represents the Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers like no other. Raymond has been dedicated to his community during the past few summers working multiple jobs. He contributed to the beautification of parks in his home city working as a Field Maintenance Technician. Continuing his passion for being involved in the community, Raymond became a lifeguard and pool manager and gained responsibility while educating younger generations about water safety.
