Hi, my name is Henry. I’m a transportation design graduate with a passion for mechanical design, and the creation of new design language and vehicle concepts derived from storytelling. I enjoy experimental/advanced design that draws inspiration from forms found in nature, using a workflow that combines traditional methods, digital modeling, and computational design. During my education at CCS, I had the opportunity to work as an exterior design intern at GAC R&D Center in Guangzhou, China for three months, and I completed projects for Bordrin Motors and the US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center, in their respective sponsored studios. These experiences gave me the bandwidth to solve both stylistic and functional design problems depending on a project’s needs. It also provided invaluable experience working under criteria provided by engineers and managers, taking into account manufacturing, economics, sustainability, and durability during the design process.
