Here’s the truth: I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up.

When faced with the first real choice in my life, I was met with the decision to attend Stanford University to study BioMedical Engineering, or… (much to my parents’ displeasure) go to art school. I really wasn’t sure of what I wanted to be when I grew up and I thought what the hell, I like to draw and make things, let’s give the art school thing a try.

Now, as I come to another important juncture, I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. Through internships, and the relationships I’ve built with professionals in the industry, I have learned so much more than just how to make an ad.

I can’t pinpoint one thing that I want to do forever, and I think that’s my greatest strength.
From designing logos and color palettes for an entire country, to ideating campaign launch for anarchists from Lucas Films, I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. Because I want to do all of it. I’m not a digital art director. I’m not a logo designer. I’m a girl with a whole lot of creative attitude, figuring out what advertising can be for brands.

I don’t think we know what the industry will grow up to be, but I’m excited be a part of it.
