The Center for Tutoring and Writing provides:
Individualized Academic Support
- One-on-one assistance for all CCS students and for all classes, including Liberal Arts and Foundations courses
- Tailored to meet each student’s needs and pace
Academic Coaching
- Time Management Consultations
- Appointments to discuss effective strategies to improve productivity and organizational skills
Peer Tutors
- Faculty recommended upper-level students
- Assist with creative skills ranging from digital software to traditional sketching
Writing Support
- Writing assistance available for any type of assignment: essays, research papers, artist’s statements, resumes, portfolios
- Help with all stages of the writing process: brainstorming, organizing ideas, sharpening grammar skills, formatting
Academic Strategy Workshops
- Short presentations offered throughout the academic year
